Shibu & Mary (PEF Missionaries)

Shibu and Mary are natives of Kerala in Southern India. They both come from a Church of Syrian tradition which traces its roots to the church established in India by Apostle Thomas.  After his college education, Shibu worked for several years in Saudi Arabia as a Sales & Marketing Executive.  During this time, a Christian brother, a convert from Hinduism, shared the gospel with him. This turned his life around to a new direction. 

 

In 1995 he married Mary and she joined him in Saudi Arabia. She is a trained school teacher and worked several years there. Mary became a committed Christian after her marriage to Shibu.  They both were active in the ministry

as part of a Christian fellowship there.  

 

In the year 2007, Shibu graduated from the Presbyterian Theological Seminary (PTS) in Dehradun, India.  During his Seminary time, he felt a burden to reach out to villagers.  He sought to do practical things and eventually this became a mission organization known as India Village Mission (indiavillagemission.com).  It is a non-profit organization and is growing under the leadership of a few committed Christians.

 

By the grace of God, In 2008 Shibu and Mary arrived in the U.S. through the selfless efforts of God’s faithful servants at Crossroads. The ministries at Crossroads have helped them grow spiritually and mature in the knowledge of God.   

 

In 2009, Mark Grasso introduced Shibu and Mary to the Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship (PEF) and now they are partnering under the umbrella of PEF. Their desire is to serve the Lord in a most productive way wherever they are. They are also involved in different ministries at Crossroads and are leading a Growth group at their home. The Christian Curry Fellowship is hospitality evangelism, mostly for the Youth, initiated by Shibu where they have fellowship meals and Bible study every other Friday.

 

Shibu is currently serving in various ministries at Crossroads, like teaching, preaching and evangelism.
